Exciting developments ahead! We’re in the process of building a new website!!!
The purpose of the Minor Missions Project is for young people to learn and educate their local community on change they wish to see. Students will gain practical experience, collaborate with others, develop connections, and provide opportunities for leadership while inspiring others within their community.
Examples of topics people could do for minor missions: climate change, hunger, etc.
Participation and completion of the project is required, however, upon successful completion of this program, students will receive credit for up to 20 community service hours.
The Process:
Decide upon a topic with your group
Research the topic.
Brainstorm and discuss how you want to do it (short film, long film, documentary, movie, stop motion).
Create it
Promote It
Present it in person or record a video and show it to three local nonprofits that deal with the issue you want changed.
Minor Mission Example:
